I visited ALT for the first time in September and saw Guys & Dolls. There was so much talent on that stage! It was an enjoyable experience, and I look forward to seeing another show.
A wonderful show. Charlie and the Chocolate factory. It was a different take on the story and I enjoyed it. We didn't get the golden ticket

First time at ALT yesterday to see Beautiful The Carole King Musical. This is one musical one should not miss!! The entire cast was spectacular, especially Hunter Lee (Carole King)! The only downside was the expense of beverage and food, but will not keep me from going back.
I am a writer and my new novel out now on Amazon and select stores is titled "The Reckoning of Rance. A modern day western about a troubled family of inheritance gone bad. It was the book that brought me to Amarillo for a signing. But once there I needed something else to do. I made a reservation for my wife and I at this little theater, for their opening play of Matilda. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Such a wonderful experience and time we had. The little star, Lake Derington stole the show. She was quiet the singer and actress, not taking anything away from the total rest of the cast who were just all exceptionally wonderful in their own rights. I will say we also enjoyed Nels Bjork and the craziness of that performance with occasional flirtation attacks upon unsuspecting male members of the audience. We loved it! We knew nothing of this theater before coming, but let me tell you we are hooked and are fans and cannot wait another chance to show up again.
I was just buying tickets. I have always found the programs that I have attended to be professionally done. The musicals are terrific. We have some terrific musicians & singers in the Amarillo area
Every performance I've been to at ALT has been so wonderful! They have such incredibly talented performers. One of my close friends often acts with them and she describes an amazing atmosphere of people who really care about each other and what they are doing.
Our “Little” theatre, we go as often as we are able. These guys do a great job for a community run organization. Keep in mind the majority of the people putting on the performances you watch here are volunteering their services and you will be impressed by what you see.
Definitely an asset to the Amarillo area 🙂🙌
